Korver is becoming a momma's boy. Matt was holding him while I was getting ready. He was kind of fussing a little and Matt kept telling Korver "I'm going to go show mommy how naughty you are being" and when Matt would bring him close to me and he could hear me he would stop being fussy. He did that a few times and finally when I was finished getting ready, Matt gave him to me and he smiled as if to say "ha ha I finally got my way Dad". It was so cute! Korver loves his mommy!
Our little guy is growing. We went to the Dr. last Friday and he now weighs 8 pounds 3 ounces. He is already starting to change! His cheeks are starting to get a little chubby. We love our Korver!

We have now finally figured out how to wear little Korver out at nights. We keep him awake after he eats around 6 or so, then when he starts trying to sleep we give him a bath and by the time his bath is over he is so tired, which means he goes right to sleep and sleeps for a good 4 hours or so. :)

Baby Korver Matthew

Korver Matthew has finally made it! Korver was born on December 31, 2008 just in time to give Daddy tax benefits for this year :) Korver weighed 6 lbs 13 oz and was 22 inches long. He is the cutest little guy and loves when we hum the song "no one likes a frowny face, change it to a smile" or at least Dad thinks he likes it. It seems like we find ourselves humming that a lot more at nights than any other time of day. He is a little backwards right now with his sleeping patterns. He sleeps all day and come night time he thinks it is time to be wide awake. We are working on this, hopefully there is a quick fix (Any ideas are welcomed especially after last night :) he was up for a good portion of the night again )

We couldn't be more proud of our little son, at this point he can do no wrong. Although he probably isn't smiling at us, when he cracks a little smile we are convinced that he is smiling at us and boy is that a proud moment for a parent ha ha. Well we'll try to keep this Blog updated, joining the blog world is a new thing for both Amber and I which means that this may or may not last...
